Rent Geared-to-Income Program

What is it?

This program offers rental housing for individuals and families. Rent paid is based on household income.

Who is it for?

Applications are approved based on need with consideration to the following:

  • are homeless
  • spend more than 30% of their household income on shelter and utilities
  • live in a home without enough bedrooms to accomodate the size of family
  • live in a home that is in poor condition, aggravates a health problem, or is unsuitable because of a physical disability

Affordable Housing Program

What is it?

This program offers quality, affordable rental housing for families and individuals. The rent for these units is a fixed amount.

Who is it for?

Individuals and families are eligible for the Affordable Housing Program with consideration for the following:

  • are homeless
  • spend more than 30% of their household income on shelter and utilities
  • live in a home without enough bedrooms to accomodate the size of family
  • live in a home that is in poor condition, aggravates a health problem, or is unsuitable because of a physical disability

Downpayment Assistance badge

Down Payment Assistance Program

What is it?

This program allows tenants to purchase the home they are currently residing in. Tenants will receive assistance with their downpayment to achieve home ownership.

Who is it for?

To be eligible to apply, applicants must:

  • be a current tenant and have been a tenant of Camponi Housing, Sasknative Rentals, or La Maison for a minimum of three years
  • be of aboriginal ancestry
  • have a household income below $80,000 per year
  • have a net worth below $25,000
  • not already own a home
  • intend to have this home as their principal residence

Tenant Engagement Services

What is it?

These services help to encourage a stronger connection between our tenants and their communities. Lead by our Tenant Engagement Coordinator, tenants can partake in programs that help them become more involved in community initiatives and development.

  • Sasknative Rentals
  • La Maison Mamawe-Atosketak

Wrap Around Services

What is it?

These services exist to improve the lives of our tenants who have complex, multiple needs. Our Wrap Around Service Coordinator has developed programs, initiatives and partnerships that will allow for successful tenancies and quality of life.

Community Relations badge

Tenant Community Relations

What is it?

Our Tenant Community Relations personnel coordinates all property management functions from rent collections to home visits.

Who is it for?

Individuals can access these services if they are tenants of the following:

  • Sasknative Rentals
  • La Maison Mamawe-Atosketak
